SKF Insert bearings with an eccentric locking collar are intended for use in applications where the direction of rotation is constant. They have, on one side, an eccentric step at the extended inner ring to accommodate the locking collar. They are locked onto the shaft by turning the locking collar in the direction of rotation; a single grub screw further secures the collar to the shaft.
