Used in a wide range of applications, absorbent pads can be used for lining table tops and workbenches, to cleaning off tools and hardware, to being placed under leaking machinery and equipment, to being used on open water during oil spills in river, streams, oceans and lakes. Absorbent pads are the most versatile form of spill control products. Manufactured using a process in which a high loft, blue, melt-blown polypropylene, the fabric is bonded together using an ultrasonic weld between a blue, fine fibre, premium grade cover stock. Fabricated from a heavy weight, high loft fabric, this unique product offers high absorption and retention capabilities. This product will absorb up to ten (10) times its weight and is selective to oil-based products. The blue, fine fibre cover stock offers colour indication when oil is present, low linting, and high tensile strength. This premium product is manufactured in both a single and double weight material.
